Gift shop
On this page, you'll be able to purchase items related to the exhibitions
currently being shown or previously displayed at the gallery. Artists can either link to and
sell through their own channels, or if they prefer, we can set something up together.
Here you can also find links to follow those who have exhibited and leave feedback.
The exhibitors will decide how the page is used. We've also set up our own
permanent gift shop with products we feel are connected to the gallery and
the exhibitions. You’ll find our own gift shop further down on this page.
Exhibitions
ABANDONED JAPAN
This exhibition has no merchandise for sale. Instead, we share a bit more about
urban exploration and offer some insights from our guide.
If you want to learn more about the places featured in this exhibition, you can visit
our guide’s blog: Abandoned Kansai
If you're curious about starting urban exploration yourself –
remember to show respect and leave the place as you found it.
Others may want to experience the environment in the same way – photograph, document, or simply absorb the atmosphere.
Also consider those who may one day need to clean, repair, or perhaps reopen the site.
You never know what plans exist for the location.
If you'd like to share a few words about how you experienced the exhibition, we'd be very happy.
You can send a completely anonymous comment here: Feedback: Abandoned Japan
Even though the work is both serious and sophisticated, our guide shares his experiences
and photos entirely voluntarily. Instead of accepting money, he usually encourages donations
to organizations working with animal protection. Organizations such as: Hundstallet
Gatans galleri ("Gallery of the Streets")
We’re working on getting all the links in place for the exhibition’s gift shop,
and hopefully a web version of our manhole cover memory game.
Stop by and check out the exhibition in the meantime.
Skärmtids gift shop
First up in our gift shop is our collaboration with Gestalten, a publisher based in Berlin.
They offer a selection of books we really like. If you use any of the links on this page when shopping
at
Gestalten
and accept their cookies, we receive a small kickback – which we're thankful for.

Discover Skärmtid’s virtual gift shop.
At the gallery’s exit, there is a touchscreen that functions as a virtual gift shop and communication platform. Here, artists and businesses have the opportunity to reach their target audience directly in the gallery.
In the virtual gift shop, exhibiting artists or businesses using the gallery as a showroom can:
- Sell artworks or prints: Allow visitors to take a piece of the experience home.
- Offer merchandise: Create a direct connection with the audience through unique, exclusive products.
- Collect email addresses: Stay in touch with interested visitors by letting them leave their contact details.
- Let visitors "like" or express their opinions about the exhibition.
Additionally, we have made it possible to use the touchscreen for direct communication. Artists can, with the help of a webcam,
"drop in" and greet visitors virtually, creating a personal and interactive experience.
Take advantage of this digital opportunity to deepen visitors’ experiences and let your art, brand, or idea live on beyond the gallery walls.
The gift shop, like the rest of Skärmtid’s platform, is web-based, meaning there’s nothing stopping you from integrating a full webshop
with checkout and everything directly on the screen.
