Information for those invited to exhibit

To those I’ve asked to exhibit with us: Skärmtid isn’t your usual gallery. It’s a relaxed space where art and audience connect in an uncomplicated way.

Our exhibitions are free to visit and open to anyone curious about your work. It also costs nothing to exhibit, and the focus isn’t on sales, just making your art visible and approachable in our gallery in Nyköping, Sweden. Your pieces will always look great in this space, and we’re here to help doing what we can to make them reach a wider audience. Nyköping isn’t exactly a bustling art market but our on location gift shop as well as our online one will be available to you.

In our “gift shop” area, artists can link directly to their own online sales or merch channels. If you already have something set up, it’s free to use and can hopefully add a little extra spotlight. If you don’t, I’m happy to help build something like a print-on-demand shop tied to the exhibition. In that case, any sales we help facilitate would run at a 30% commission. It’s entirely optional and meant to support, not sell to, you.

Each exhibition begins with a conversation, we’ll settle on a theme, explore different ideas, and figure out what fits best. Skärmtid is still evolving, which makes it a fun place to test new concepts. It’s as much a playground for creative thinking as it is a gallery, and I can’t wait to see what we build together.
